Aodhan Gyory

Aodhan Gyory is a fiber artist who finds itself currently based in Baltimore and studying at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Before college, it studied fine arts at the Lehigh Valley High School for the Arts. Illustration remains its primary form of freelance work, while textile is its current medium of study. Through textiles, it works mainly through creating stuffed animals of various sizes that communicate the line between 2D design and 3D construction. Aodhan combines the qualities of life within its illustrations to make them into expressive soft sculptures that breathe life into a world previously only conceived through 2D mediums.
